What an amazing two days!

As the sun sets on our recent mission activity, the team at Word of Hope – Roxas is pausing to take a deep breath and look back at what just happened. We have officially finished our Feeding Program and Evangelistic Crusade at Brgy. Jumaguicjic, and the only phrase that truly fits the moment is "overflowing grace."

When we planned this event, our goal was simple on paper: we wanted to feed the body and feed the soul. We wanted to bring hot meals to hungry stomachs, and we wanted to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to hungry hearts. But what happened over the last 48 hours was so much more than a schedule or a plan. It was a movement of love.

It was beautiful to see children holding bowls of hot food, their faces lighting up with smiles. But honestly, it was even better to see the adults, the parents, and the elderly standing in the crowd, their hearts opening up to hope. In a world that is often hard and heavy, seeing our neighbors find comfort in the Word of God was the greatest reward we could ask for.

Stronger Together

We have to be honest: we couldn't have done this alone. A mission this size takes a family.
We want to send a massive, heartfelt thank you to Word of Hope - Novaliches and the Compassion Ministry. Thank you for standing with us. Your partnership didn’t just provide resources; it provided strength. Knowing that we have brothers and sisters in faith backing us up gave us the confidence to move forward. You helped us build a foundation for this work that held strong.

The Hands and Feet of the Mission

To our local leaders, our workers, and every single volunteer:

Reporting on this event wouldn't be right without talking about the hard work that happened behind the scenes. We saw you. We saw you up before the sun, preparing the venue. We saw you cooking over hot fires, carrying heavy pots, organizing lines, and ushering people to their seats. You worked from early morning until late at night, often when your feet were aching and your bodies were tired.

But here is the amazing part: you did it all with smiles on your faces. You didn’t just serve food like it was a job; you served people like they were family. Your bright spirits and steady hands were a living sermon.
You showed the people of Brgy. Jumaguicjic what Christ’s love actually looks like in real life. It looks like service. It looks like kindness. It looks like you.

Turning Blessings into Bread

To our sponsors: Thank you.
You are the ones who gave quietly and humbly from behind the scenes. You may not have been the ones holding the ladles or the microphones, You turned your resources into real help for real people. Because of your generosity, we were able to turn financial blessings into physical bread and spiritual compassion into action.

Looking Forward

Here at Word of Hope – Roxas, we are celebrating a job well done. But we also know that this isn’t the end. It is just the beginning. We celebrate not just an event completed, but a mission carried forward.

We are praying that the seeds we planted during these two days won’t just disappear. We pray they will take root in the soil of this community. We hope that the families we reached will continue to grow in faith long after the tents are packed away. We pray for lasting transformation in Brgy. Jumaguicjic, and that God’s grace continues to flow through every act of service we do in the future.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in this story.

To God be ALL the Glory!
